This past couple of weeks I have been working on the Latin verbs scribo, scribere, scribsi, and scriptus. I first had to find out if there was a twin base. So I did find out that there was a twin base, they are scribere, and scriptus. Scribere was the infinitive and scriptus was the supine. I had a partner, of course, to help me find out all of this stuff so it wasn’t just me. My partner was Daphne. Her blog is Cowlover 157. We then found some words with those bases in them. Then we looked up the meanings of our twin bases. They mean to compose or write. Finally, we made a poster with what we found on it. It was a lot of fun finding this stuff out for the first time!
